Doors for Dubai villa communities

Every Dubai community has its own architecture, its own original doors and its own rules about changing them. These pages show the doors we have made in each community, what suits the villas there, and how the community approval works.

Community approval, in one place

Emaar communities such as Arabian Ranches, The Springs and The Meadows, and Damac communities such as Damac Hills, need a no objection certificate from the community management before the main door design is changed. Nakheel and Jumeirah Golf Estates management review changes to the external look of a villa in the same way. The rule is about the design: repolishing or refinishing the existing door, or changing its colour, is allowed as long as the style stays the same. In every case the owner or tenant applies, we supply the drawing and specification, and nothing goes into production until the approval is in hand. Interior doors need no approval anywhere. See the community approval guide.

Do not see your community? We work across Dubai. Tell us where the villa is and we will advise what the community usually allows.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which Dubai communities need an NOC to change a main door?

Emaar communities including Arabian Ranches, The Springs and The Meadows, and Damac communities such as Damac Hills, require an NOC from the community management for a change of main door design. Repolishing, refinishing or a colour change in the same style does not need one. Interior doors never need approval.
