Doors in Palm Jumeirah

Doors for Palm Jumeirah villas

We make and install main doors, pivot doors and interior doors for Palm Jumeirah garden homes, signature villas and the newer frond rebuilds, in builds and finishes chosen for salt air and full sun.

Black Double Main Door With Long Pull

Doors that live by the sea

Palm Jumeirah is the hardest place in Dubai to keep a door looking new. Salt air, direct sun on the fronds and high humidity attack a cheap door within a year. The entrance doors we make for the Palm are solid core with a thick veneer press or fully solid teak, finished with a UV stable exterior lacquer or a PU paint system, with stainless steel or PVD brass hardware that does not pit. Black and white painted double doors with a long pull have become the Palm signature, on the rebuilt garden homes especially, and we make them with a smart lock prepared in production so there is no cutting on site.

Pivot and oversized entrances

The signature villas and the new builds on the fronds carry tall entrances that suit a pivot door, three metres and more, in walnut, teak or a painted finish, with a matching sidelight. We draw the door with the facade, and the floor pivot is coordinated with the contractor before the floor finish goes down.

Interior doors and hidden doors

Palm refurbishments usually replace every interior door at once. Full height flush doors in walnut or a painted finish, hidden doors to dressing rooms and plant rooms, and glazed doors to the sea facing rooms are the usual mix. Nakheel community rules apply to the external look of the villa; interior doors need no approval.

How we work

From site measure to installation

Four steps, one point of contact, and nothing made until you approve the drawings.

  1. Site measure

We visit, measure the opening, check the wall build up and floor level, and talk through how the door should look and work.

  2. Drawings and samples

You receive shop drawings and physical finish samples. Nothing goes into production until you or your designer approve them.

  3. Made to order

Your door is factory produced to the approved drawings, with production updates as it moves through the build and a quality check before it leaves.

  4. Installed by our team

Our fitting team installs, adjusts and hands over the door, with one point of contact from the first visit to the last adjustment.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is the best main door for a Palm Jumeirah villa?

A solid core or fully solid teak door with a UV stable exterior finish and stainless steel or PVD brass hardware. Painted black or white double doors with a long pull are the look most owners choose, and we prepare the leaf for a smart lock in production.

Do I need approval to change my main door on the Palm?

The community management controls the external look of the villa, so a change of door design should be checked with them first; refinishing or a colour change in the same style is normally fine. We supply the drawing. Interior doors need no approval.
