Doors for Emirates Hills villas
We make and install arched and oversized main doors, pivot doors and complete interior door sets for Emirates Hills villas, drawn to the architecture of each house rather than taken from a catalogue.
Doors drawn to the house
No two Emirates Hills villas are alike, and the entrance is where that shows most: round arches, tall rectangular portals, double doors under a fanlight, and the occasional contemporary rebuild with a pivot door the height of the facade. Our main doors here are drawn from a site survey of the opening, so an arched leaf follows the true radius of the arch and sits in a frame that is scribed to the stone. The build is a solid core with a thick teak or walnut veneer press, or fully solid teak, with a UV stable finish, and the hardware is specified with the door so the pulls, locks and closers are prepared in production.
The arched entrance
The white arched entrance door shown here is one of ours, made for an Emirates Hills villa: a panelled leaf under a segmental arched head, with a glazed fanlight above and glazed sidelights either side, all in one painted frame that follows the curve of the opening. An arched door needs a stiffer leaf than a square one, because the head cannot carry a top rail of normal depth, so the core and the frame are engineered for it, and the fanlight and sidelights are made with the door so the glazing bars line through.
Interior sets for large villas
An Emirates Hills villa can have forty or more interior doors. We schedule them by floor and by finish, full height walnut flush doors on the ground floor, painted panelled doors in the bedrooms, hidden doors to the dressing rooms and plant rooms, and fire rated doors where the villa has staff quarters or a basement garage, and we install in sequence with the contractor.

Site measure
We visit, measure the opening, check the wall build up and floor level, and talk through how the door should look and work.
Drawings and samples
You receive shop drawings and physical finish samples. Nothing goes into production until you or your designer approve them.
Made to order
Your door is factory produced to the approved drawings, with production updates as it moves through the build and a quality check before it leaves.
Installed by our team
Our fitting team installs, adjusts and hands over the door, with one point of contact from the first visit to the last adjustment.

Can you make an arched main door to match my villa?
Yes. We survey the opening, draw the leaf to the true radius of the arch and make the frame to the stone. Arched doors are built on a stiffer core so the leaf stays flat under the curved head.
Do you install complete door sets for large villas?
