What suits an Arabian Ranches villa
The Ranches villas are Spanish and Mediterranean in character, with rendered walls, deep porches and arched or square entrance openings, and the original main doors are mostly stained timber with a single sidelight. The doors we make here follow that language in a better build: a solid core with a teak or wenge veneer press, or fully solid teak for an exposed porch, with a reeded or clear glass sidelight in a matching timber frame, a long brass or black pull, and a smart lock where the owner wants keyless entry. Dark wenge against a cream render has become the look of the community, and it photographs well at night with the porch light on.
Interior doors in the Ranches
Most Ranches villas still have their original flush interior doors. Owners replacing them usually want a painted panelled or grooved door with a matching frame and architrave in every room, a glazed door to the study or family room, and a hidden door where a storage room opens off the hall. We measure every opening, since the original frames vary from villa to villa, and quote the whole floor as one package.
Community approval for a new main door
Arabian Ranches is managed by Emaar Community Management, and the main door is part of the approved look of the villa. A change of door design needs a no objection certificate from the community management before work starts. Repolishing or refinishing the existing door, or changing its colour, is allowed as long as the style stays the same, and a new door in the same style is usually approved without difficulty. A new design, a different panel layout, a pivot in place of a hinged pair or new glazing is what needs the NOC. The owner or tenant applies for it. We supply the drawing and the specification the community asks for, and we do not start production until the approval is in hand, so nothing is made that cannot be fitted.

Drawings and samples
You receive shop drawings and physical finish samples. Nothing goes into production until you or your designer approve them.

Your door is factory produced to the approved drawings, with production updates as it moves through the build and a quality check before it leaves.

Do I need an NOC to change my main door in Arabian Ranches?
