Painted double entrance doors, Palm Jumeirah
Two entrance doors for villas on Palm Jumeirah: a black painted double door with a long pull, and a white raised panel double door with a smart lock. Both built on solid cores with a PU paint system for the sea air, and installed by our team.
The brief
Palm villas take salt air and full sun, and the owners wanted painted double doors, one black and contemporary, one white and classic, that would hold their finish.
What we made
Both doors are double leaves on solid engineered cores with solid lippings, sprayed with a PU paint system in the booth. The black door is a flush pair with a long pull on the active leaf. The white door is a raised panel pair with a smart lock prepared in production, so the keypad and the reader sit cleanly in the leaf.
Why it works
On the Palm the finish system matters more than the design. A sprayed PU system and hardware in finishes chosen for salt air resist what pits ordinary brass and lifts ordinary paint.
