Teak entrance door with vision panel, Damac Hills
A single leaf entrance door in teak veneer on a solid core, with a small glazed vision panel at the top, a black pull and a mortice lock, for a villa in Damac Hills, with dark wenge flush interior doors and matching frames inside. Made to order and installed by our team.
The brief
Replace the developer door with a warmer timber door that suits the cream render and the sheltered porch, and bring the interior doors up to the same standard.
What we made
The entrance door is a flush leaf in teak veneer on a solid engineered core with a glazed vision panel in the upper part, finished in a UV stable lacquer that keeps the teak colour in the porch. Inside, dark wenge flush doors with matching wenge frames and architraves replace the painted developer doors.
Why it works
Teak is the timber for an exposed Dubai entrance and the vision panel gives a view of the porch without a sidelight. The wenge interiors tie in with the darker kitchens and wardrobes common in the community.
